Privacy & measurement

BioWadi is built for families. We want to learn what helps — without collecting what we do not need.

What we measure

Server page views; first-party product events (CTA clicks, article open, read depth, poll votes, newsletter signup, language/theme switch); basic campaign params (utm_*) when you arrive from a shared link.

What we do not collect

Children’s names, ages, schools, or free-form chat. Email is stored only if you subscribe — separate from browsing metrics.

How a visitor is identified

An anonymous id in localStorage plus a daily hash of IP (not the full address). There is no child user account.

Third-party tools (Google Analytics)

In production we intentionally run Google Analytics 4 (G-2JK1SQ0BN9) alongside our first-party event store — so we can see acquisition channels and return visits. IP is anonymized in GA. No child accounts; a parent should supervise use.

Who this is for

Curious kids with parents/adults. A grown-up should join the first visit.
